It gives me deep pleasure when I see people reach their potential and become catalysts of change in their homes, work and communities. Often the first barrier to overcome is the lack of confidence or perspective. To inspire, instruct and enable are drivers in all pro bono work that I do. I am particularly passionate about issues faced by women ( mothers ) and children and their role in the sustainable economic development of nations.

Foresight Development international
Nepal - The children I met 1998, who used to live in prison with their parents, are now professionals and college graduates. Listen to the impact that Foresight Development is having in this forgotten land....
Defying poverty through education in the country of Nepal - "The children of Nepal suffer from poverty, slavery, imprisonment, and a social class structure that eliminates opportunity. Girls and women experience especially low social status and poor literacy rates and Foresight is developing schools, training teachers, and mentoring students. Together, the students and teachers are growing in hope, faith, and meaningful skills."
Robotic DRAGONS - local community First Lego League robotic team
I knew little about Firsr Lego League and robotic when I decided to create a community team that my children and their friends could be part of, yet I knew that this program, which has three key elements - Robot Design, Innovative Idea Research and Team Work as Core Value would be of tremendous value for them. I want to take this experience and broden to a large audience so that many more children can be inspired by STEM. The video shows a visit to Emory's Robotic Operating Room by two FLL teams. Here is one of the kids response...
"My experience at the Emory hospital was amazing! We learned the pros and cons of robotic surgery. My absolute favorite part was using the Da Vinci machine. I found it surprisingly easy and much like a video game. Conventional surgeries are very difficult. I also found out there is a lot of engineering in the medical field." Varun
